Paint Your Own Pottery at Home!

Painting at home gives you plenty of time and opportunity to let your creative juices flow! It's such an easy and fun way to express oneself. Paint a piece that will last a generation!

How It Works

1. Pick out Bisque ware you want to paint

2. Pick out glazes

3. Take home and paint

4. Bring it back so we can do the final firing

5. Come pick up your finished piece to enjoy for a lifetime!

FAQs

Q: Can you sketch with pencil first or use a stencil?

A: Yes, the graphite will burn off in the kiln.

Q: Can you wash underglaze off of pottery if you make an error?

A: Yes, you can always wash off the glaze and start over.

Q: Can you mix underglazes?

A: We do not recommend mixing underglazes as they do not follow color theory, they follow chemistry. We cannot guarantee what the final outcome will be. Blending glazes on the piece as you paint can create gradients and some different hues.

Q: How do you clean your brushes?

A: Similar to what you would do with acrylic paint, you can rinse off your brushes with water in a jar. We do not recommend pouring glazes down the sink.
