Q: Can you sketch with pencil first or use a stencil?
A: Yes, the graphite will burn off in the kiln.
Q: Can you wash underglaze off of pottery if you make an error?
A: Yes, you can always wash off the glaze and start over.
Q: Can you mix underglazes?
A: Yes, you can combine different color underglazes to produce new hues as long as they are the same brand. However, we cannot guarantee what the final outcome will be.
Q: How do you clean your brushes?
A: Similar to what you would do with acrylic paint, you can rinse off your brushes with water in a jar. We do not recommend pouring glazes down the sink.
